My Husband, My Hero!!

My husband and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary. However it was a little harder to celebrate this year since he is stationed at Fort Campbell and our son and I are having to live here in LaCenter so that I can work. It's hard for couples to make time to be a couple when the husband and wife both work. But it's especially hard to make time when you are both working and living apart. However, we don't complain. We have been much further apart in the past. Bud, my husband, was deployed to Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division for a little over a year in 07 - 08. After he came home from Iraq we were inseperable! We lived at Fort Campbell together and had our first child. But as everyone knows, money is tight these days and I had to eventually go from being a stay at home mom to a working wife and mother. Since most of the soldiers from Fort Campbell are deployed to Afghanistan right now, it makes it hard to find a job around post. So we ended up having to do the last thing that we ever wanted to do. My son and I moved back to LaCenter to stay with my parents so that I could work here. It has been hard being away from my husband and even harder for Bud to be away from our son. We all miss eachother so much. Being able to have him here for a couple of days so we can spend time together as a family would be the best gift this Holiday season!
