Her Daddy Her Hero

Her Daddy, Her Hero

On Christmas as I was reading status updates on Facebook there was 1 in particular that grabbed my heart. It was posted by Martin Crittendon a guy I went to school with at Heath... It read this... Martin Crittendon- It's December 25th in Afghanistan so it's just another day. I am missing my daughter more than ever but she is thousands of miles away. I think of all the things I have missed I hope she will forgive. I hope she is proud of her daddy for I help freedom live. I know one day I will get to leave here to see and hug her tight. But it's December 25th in Afghanistan so it's just another night. Merry Christmas" This brought tears to my eyes. To my knowledge Marty loves his little girl very much and doesnt get to spend time with her like he wishes to due to him fighting for our country and I think it would be so wonderful to see this soldier win this contest and be able to come home and spend this time with his little girl!
