Give Benefits to Vets, and vets pay back

My name is Adam Johnson, I served in the United States Navy for four years and that I received Montgomery GI Bill until it ran out, and then my veteran's affairs representative in Shawnee Community College in Ullin, IL to sign up for the post 9/11 GI bill, moments after signing up for this program I received a 3000.00 check from the VA, and then two months later a 400.00 check. By February of 2010 the VA told me I was overpaid by them the 3000.00, so they officially put me on the Post 9/11 GI Bill to pay off the mistake, because apparently I was never on it. They sent me a letter, because I changed schools to a University online, and they, the VA, wanted proof I was going to school for my Human Services degree and managed to get 3000.00 down to 750.00. By December 2010 the VA told me that they overpaid me again with housing, which I did not know I was receiving between April 2010 and September 2010, so they wanted a payment of 7658.24 and a payment of 450.00 I just wish I knew what to do as this is a heavy burden.
