My God's Given Gift
My husband John Wesley Saxton was a gift given to me by God. I met him when I was young visiting my grandmother in Kentucky however I lived in Massachusetts. I lived 35+ years outside of Kentucky. After returned to Kentucky years later and attended an afternoon service at church, we met again. He told me that he asked God to allow him to meet us with me just one more time and he did. From that moment on our love just flourished (um..we do have our rough days, but the love never sways negatively).
When God gives you a mate, he gives you what you need. I say that because He is everything short of God that I need to be everything that I am suppose to be. He loves and cherishes me more than I could ever ask to be. He supports me, comforts me, and nurses me each and every time I need it. Now he will tell me when I am wrong as well which at times I don't WANT to hear but NEED to hear. He is my shoulder to lean on, cry on, and lay on.
I have to say, you know you are loved when someone doesn't even have to show you that you are loved, YOU CAN FEEL IT by their mere presents. That's the love that my God's Given Gift gives to me, a daily feeling of LOVE!
I LOVE YOU JOHN!!
