On September 11, 2010, I married the perfect man. Yes Ladies, they do exist. When my daughter was a year old, her father and I divorced. I was 24 years old, a single mom, working full time, and trying to give Chloe May (now 6 yrs old) the kind of life she deserved. Needless to say, dating was a challenge. I found myself becoming a bitter, miserable person. That all changed when I met Jordon. After our first few dates, it was ridiculous how strong our feelings were for one another. People noticed a change in me almost immediately. I was happy again. After several months, he played a song he wrote for me called "What That Woman's Love Does to Me." It brought tears to my eyes. And several months after that, he played another song for me; only this time, he made me close my eyes as I listened to Dierks Bentley's "My Last Name". When I opened my eyes, there he was in front of me on one knee, with a little black box opened. (Again with the tears) And when he told me that the day before, he had already gone to my father and asked for his blessing... My heart melted. Guys like that weren't supposed to exist anymore. He had even gotten Chloe her own ring, and wanted her to be a part of the entire ceremony. He said, "its just as important for her, as it is for you and me." I walked down the isle to the words, "God Blessed the Broken Road, that Led Me Straight to You." Chloe and I are truly blessed to have him in our lives. I sit on our back porch and look around...it just doesn't seem real. But it is...The Perfect Man Does Exist...and I am going to spend the rest of my life with him!
