My mother. Just those two words bring a smile to my face. I know everyone thinks they have the best mother in the world, but that is just not the case. My mom is the best in the world.
My mother is one that does everything for every person...not just her kids. She was there for every band show, soccer game, field trip, and everything else my brothers and I were involved in. We are all three in college (two in grad school and one a junior) and even now she is still there every time we need her no matter how far the drive. My mom has never complained about all she does. She has given my brothers and me everything she could. Each of us has gone to Europe, had a car on our 16th birthdays, and been involved in whichever activity we wanted to do. She has had to sacrifice so much to do all of this for us. If I need anything or just want to talk she is the first person I call because I know I can always count on her. She is my best friend.
When I say she does everything for every person I mean it. She works for Lourdes Homecare and many of her patients are homebound. If any of these patients need some groceries, a cane, or anything really my mom goes and gets it for them. She has mowed patients' yards, installed handrails, and she even picks up the recycling from their houses to take it in. She volunteers what little free time she has at St. Nick's, our church, and various other places. She is always going and doing to try to make this world a better place not only for her own children, but for every person alive.
I love my mom and I am so thankful for her. She really is the world's best mom.
