This is the life of a Captain in high water. When the water is high, the current is fast and the bridges are dangerous. All you can do is hope you have enough know how to get the job done. At the end of the day when you look back at the locks you had to jump and the bridges you have had to clear, you thank God that you made it another day. The first shot is a towboat as it is clearing a bridge in high water. The second shot is a picture of tree tops that are barely peeking out of the water. These photos were take by Captain Bruce Varvel of the Marine Vessel Titletown USA for Marquette Towing.
