When I seen the commerical I knew there were alot of desiring mothers out there. I also know that almost every daughter or son will tell you that there mother deserves to win. I believe my mother deserves more than the world. There is nothing in the world I could think of to be the ulimate gift of a job well done as her role in being my mother. Really it isn't even the prize that matters, it is more about getting my story out. Every since I was little I remember my mother always making sure I was taken care of. Becoming a widow when my father past away she then took on the job of being both the mother and father of me at three years old. She finally raised me and then my mother fell very ill. She was diagnosed of lung cancer when I was a junior in high school. She has been battling cancer for years. The first day of my freshman year at college after I got everything moved into my dorm I set down to get in touch with my mother. I was then told news that I never wanted to hear, she had went to the doctor where their CAT scans had shown where my mother has a golf ball size tumor in her brain. Everything went wrong in just a matter of seconds. With tears pouring out, my mother like she always does, calmed me down and told me everything was going to be alright. Knowing that having a medical history like hers' it would become very rocky with her health. Going on about 3 years now, her cancer has spreaded it took her health downhill and for the worst. Her doctor then told her that the chemotherapy treatments were harming her more than helping her, the doctor went ahead and put her on hospice. Even though there may be a few more bad days then good, my mother is still going strong and smiling everyday. Even though she doesn't battle bad guys in the middle of the night or save thousands on people in one city from something or someone terrible, she is my hero and always will be. She is the person that I want to grow up to be. My mother is a wonderful person and always makes sure everyone else is taken care of before she worries about herself. That is why I believe she deserves something great!
