Truely amazing to see lightning for 15 minutes in murphysboro.
The skies turned green and heavy winds came then the most amazing lightning streaks that filled the whole sky from far as you can see in either direction and fanned out wonderfully even the camera could not get it all. then in the midst the 7th street highrise which is 4 blocks away just beyond my trees got struck which is common but this time partically on film, the glow emits off the roof in this shot somewhat it was fantastic to see the color emerge from it
