2011-12 Graves PAC shows

Graves Schools' PAC Season Series set

“Ya got trouble, my friend, right here, I say, trouble right here in River City. That starts with ‘T’ and that rhymes with ‘P’ and that stands for pool!” …It also rhymes with “E” and, in this case, that stands for ”Enjoyable!”
The Graves County Schools’ Performing Arts Center’s 2011-12 Season Series goes back in time 50 years for two all-time classic Broadway musical-comedies that enjoy perennial revivals: “The Music Man” and “Bye, Bye, Birdie.” Other shows include a concert for the holidays, an alumni fundraiser, and the annual, collaborative presentation of Graves County High School’s Fine Arts Academy – “Curtain Call!”
“This year’s season ticket holders will enjoy five amazing performances, and ticket prices will remain at the same, economical rate of only $25 for adults and $15 for students,” said PAC manager Donna Gream. “Tickets purchased at the door and for other performances will cost $6 for adults and $4 for students. Our first season event will be held Friday, November 18. So, it is very important that you act quickly to reserve your seats!”
The Season Series chronologically includes the Fall Musical “Bye, Bye, Birdie” on Nov. 18; the Graves County School District Holiday Concert, “Candy Cane Classics,” on Dec. 9; the Alumni Fundraiser, “All Hearts Come Home” on Jan. 13; the Spring Musical, “The Music Man” on March 9; and Curtain Call, with this year’s theme, “What If…” on April 20. All Season Series shows start at 7 p.m. on Fridays.
The PAC is located adjacent to GCHS, near the intersection of Ky. Highway 121 and the Purchase Parkway.
