5 Alive at Graves PAC Sept. 24

Free Christian concert at Graves PAC

A free Christian music concert will be part of the “5 Alive Tour” and will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Graves County Schools’ Performing Arts Center, located adjacent to Graves County High School, in Mayfield, near the intersection of Ky. Highway 121 and the Purchase Parkway.
“The idea of the Five Alive Concerts began from some groups wanting to travel to other areas to share their ministry outside their hometowns,” said Mike Glover of For Heaven's Sake. “We tried it, and it was such a success that it was decided that we would do it as a tour!”
He continued, “We have five groups from five different towns singing five different styles of gospel music. The groups are For Heaven’s Sake from Murray; The Farmers from Paducah; His Praise from Hopkinsville; Yours Truly from Clarksville, Tenn., and The Pullen Family from Wyatt, Mo. These groups hover around Southern Gospel, but they sing all styles of music. You will hear songs like ‘It’s True,’ ‘Unforgiven,’ ‘God’s Still Faithful,’ ‘Behold the Lamb,’ ‘I Call Him Lord,’ and many more.”
Glover concluded, “Not only will you hear some of the best gospel music in the area, but the Spirit of the Lord is present at each and every concert. We encourage everyone to come for a spirit-filled evening of gospel music!”
