Community Christmas Connection open house

Graves, Mayfield schools play Santa

The Graves County Schools’ Family Resource and Youth Service centers and the Mayfield Independent Schools’ FACE Resource Center will host an open house for their annual Community Christmas Connection. The Graves County Truck Pullers Association in October presented checks to the centers for some $28,500. Most of the proceeds from the association’s August truck and tractor pull support the Community Christmas Connection to help underprivileged children enjoy the Christmas celebration. The open house is scheduled to run from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at the Connection’s new location, directly across the parking lot from Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant, at 1108 Cuba Road, Suite A, Mayfield. Pictured here, discussing the open house and preparing the store, are, from left, center directors Jennifer Morris, Andrea Elliott, Jean Ann Miller, Lori Beyer, and Tana Jones. “We’re so grateful to the truck pullers and everyone else who shared in the spirit of the season by giving,” Jones said, “and we welcome anyone else who wants to contribute!”
