Graves High counselors lead FAFSA work

Graves County High School guidance counselor Laura Marrs (standing) works with Lori Mitchum and Crystal Weir, representatives from Murray State University, and GCHS seniors and parents. Seated, from left, are Weir and senior Chelsey Madding as mother Claudia Nanny watches. All were working to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid forms on-line. Students and parents made appointments throughout the day and evening for one-on-one sessions. The GCHS counselors have held previous sessions and will continue to provide opportunities for parents and students to complete their FAFSA applications. Parents and students who still need assistance may attend a FAFSA workshop from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at Mid-Continent University or they may contact a GCHS guidance counselor for assistance.
