Graves Hi wins STEM TEAMS competition

Graves County High School’s Level 1, Team A, recently won the 2012 TEAMS, Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math, and Science, competition. Kentucky TEAMS manager Sandy Honour congratulated GCHS, writing, “This achievement highlights your dedication and commitment to innovative thinking, diligent research and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning. Each team member deserves recognition for their ability to problem-solve and work together in this rigorous engineering-based competition. The Technology Student Association invites your ‘Best in State’ team to receive their banner, medals and certificates at the TSA awards ceremony on June 25, 2012. That ceremony is the culminating event of the 2012 national TSA conference taking place June 21st-25th in Nashville, Tenn., with an anticipated attendance of 5,000 people.
