Fancy Farm Elementary School student Sarah Throgmorton was all smiles recently when she won a basketball signed by all the members of the Murray State University 2011-12 basketball team. The Racers’ record of 31-2 was the best in school history and she was proud to wear her MSU tee-shirt. She won the prized giveaway at the All Pro Dad Night recently held at Graves County High School. A crowd of 130 heard MSU basketball coach Steve Prohm and star player Isaiah Canaan speak, watched the movie Courageous, and enjoyed dinners supplied by western Kentucky restaurants. Giveaways included Courageous DVDs, retired National Football League coach Tony Dungy books, and more. The Graves County Family Resource and Youth Services Centers co-sponsored the event with the YMCA and Community Collaboration for Children.
