Graves tennis clinic revised to Oct 9-18

The Graves County High School tennis team will present its “Little Eagle Tennis Clinic” soon for interested Graves County students in grades 4-9. Coach Chuck Whitnell and current and former GCHS tennis players will provide instruction. All skill levels are welcome. Players will be divided into ability levels and age groups for instruction and play. Participants who have racquets are asked to bring them. Anyone without a racquet will be provided one for the clinic, if they request it upon registration. The clinic will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 9, 11, 16, and 18, at the tennis courts near the Ky. Highway 121 entrance to Graves County High School. The cost is $10 per day. The number of openings available is limited; so, registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. To learn more or to register, email coach Chuck Whitnell at
(These dates are revised from the original schedule, due to Graves students playing in a state tournament.)
