They recently represented the western part of the Commonwealth at the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education Conference at the Lake Cumberland State Park near Jamestown. The conference’s 2012 theme was “Creating Balance.” Purchase Area Writing Project alumni Pritchard and Brown presented a session entitled “Jumpstart Journaling: Making Writing Connections with Nature.” Ashley Hoffman helped to plan, organize, and oversee the conference. She and her husband, Robert Hoffman, reside in Graves County and share in the collaboration of environmental awareness and education.
