The Graves County Schools’ Performing Arts Center recently celebrated the addition of its Baldwin grand piano with its Keynote Appreciation Concert and Dinner. The evening served as a "thank you" for the funds contributed by the sponsors. Former PAC manager Donna Davenport started the fundraising effort five years ago. The evening included dinner provided by the Graves County High School Culinary Arts Department, with students serving the guests. The concert featured two performers, Hannah Latta, a GCHS senior and participant in the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts, and Angela Mosley, an accomplished pianist playing since the age of 4, who performs regularly for the Kentucky Opry in Draffenville as well as with the gospel group For His Call. The sponsors were presented with a plaque honoring their generosity. Those in attendance included Steve and Sharon Arant, Gloria Galloway, Pete Galloway, Norman Baird, Beth Shadrick, Wayne Youngblood, Robert Hassel, Wally and Judy Higdon, Carla Whitis, Robert and Lynn Pratt, Dorothy Moreland, Thomas Ward, Donna Davenport, and Donna Gream.
