Farmington sixth graders complete DARE

Farmington Elementary sixth graders surprised Graves County Schools Resource Officer John Cavin with a choreographed chant they performed at their DARE graduation. He complimented them for their enthusiasm and on what he called a “first” at the graduations he’s conducted. Drug Abuse Resistance Education seeks to equip students with knowledge of the dangers of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs and the skills to stand strong against peer pressure in middle and high school, college, and throughout life. Here, the sixth graders pose with their certificates and Cavin.
