Blood drives at Graves schools mid-March

Graves County Central Elementary sixth grader Zach Reed (left) and his brother, third grader Tyler Reed talk to their father, Jeff Reed, as he gives blood during the American Red Cross blood drive at their school. Sedalia Elementary held a blood drive the same day. The American Red Cross will hold blood drives between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Fancy Farm, Symsonia, and Wingo elementary schools and Thursday, March 14, at Farmington and Lowes elementary schools. Students are helping to promote the events. Each can win a tee-shirt for those efforts. Of course, the greatest benefit is in helping others, as blood donors give the gift of life by giving blood… Pass it on.
