Farmington Elementary School’s sixth grade class recently visited St. Louis, Mo. On the trip home, they stopped at the Cahokia Indian Mounds. The mounds were the largest man-made structures of the era in which they were constructed and those who built them comprised the most sophisticated Native American society north of Mexico.
