Lowes School shows Distinguished banner

Lowes Elementary School ranked among the top 10 percent of Kentucky elementary schools on the first-ever Unbridled Learning assessment. To mark the achievement, the school recently placed a Kentucky Department of Education banner next to the front door to tell all who walk through the door that Lowes is a school ranking among the highest-performing and most college and career-ready elementary schools in the Commonwealth. Here, principal Cheryl Goodman, guidance counselor Shea Brown posed with last year’s “Distinguished” third and fourth graders. Pictured, from left, are MaKayla Whitaker, Karli Prather, Yair Hernandez, Breanna Baker, Megan LaClair, Bown, Lydia Hunt, and Goodman.
