Sedalia 6th graders DARE to fight drugs

Sedalia Elementary sixth graders joined Graves County Schools Resource Officer John Cavin for this photo after their DARE graduation. Drug Abuse Resistance Education seeks to equip students with knowledge of the dangers of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs and the skills to stand strong against peer pressure in middle and high school, college, and throughout life. Joining the schools’ for their DARE graduations were representatives of Kentucky State Police Post 1, Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon’s office, and top administrators of the Graves County School District’s central office.
