Cuba School's new principal: Lora Miller

Cuba Elementary School’s new principal this fall will be Lora Miller, a veteran teacher of 13 years, including the past seven at Wingo Elementary School. “Cuba Elementary is a great school with a very caring faculty and staff,” Miller said. “I’m really excited to be a part of it and to have the chance to work with students and adults in a way that I think I can be effective and helpful in furthering student learning. I’m looking forward to August!” Graves County Assistant Superintendent for elementary instruction Kim Harrison will fill the position of superintendent July 1. She said, “Lora brings a wealth of knowledge to the instructional efforts at Cuba. She really understands the vertical progress necessary from one grade to the next. Lora has a tremendous passion and energy that I believe not only will fit in really well at Cuba, but also will add to the instructional efforts district-wide.”
