Graves Schools' new elem inst sup Henson

Graves County Schools’ Assistant Superintendent Kim Harrison has hired Amanda Henson (pictured here) to assume the role Harrison is leaving as the district’s “supervisor of elementary instruction” when Harrison officially becomes the district’s superintendent July 1. Henson served as lead teacher at Cuba Elementary School since 2011 and guidance counselor and teacher there dating back to 2000. “… This is a position that fulfills my ultimate career goal because I believe it’s the area of my greatest strength,” Henson said. “I see myself as an instructional leader. In this position, I can help all eight elementary schools progress and each student find success…”
