Graves grad tops Ky, 2nd USA electricity

Graves County High School 2013 graduate Trey Williams placed second nationally in home construction electrical wiring in the Skills USA competition held this summer in Kansas City, Mo. The son of Terry and Janeene Williams, Trey won first place in an event within that same area of competition nationally: conduit bending. He also won first place in Kentucky’s statewide home construction wiring. Here, he receives a certificate noting his achievement from Graves County Board of Education member Jim Wurth, as his electricity teacher, Joel Crider looks on. Williams learned his craft and Crider teaches at the Mayfield-Graves County Area Technology Center.
