Graves' Guardian 2 cheer 4 Mid-Continent

Graves County High School 2013 graduate Melanie Guardian was a member of the GCHS dance team her senior year. After seeing a dance that team members had choreographed, Mid-Continent University Spirit Squad coach Laia Imhoff was impressed and invited Guardian to try out for her team for the 2013-14 school year. That led to the scholarship, which Guardian accepted. Melanie is pictured here, flanked by GCHS dance team coach, Kayla Pigg, and by her father, Gerardo Guardian. “I’m very excited,” Melanie Guardian said. “They offered me a very good scholarship. They’re giving me the chance to dance and cheer at the same time and I’m really excited about that.”
