Some 28 seniors from Mayfield and Graves County high schools were selected through a rigorous application and interview process this past summer to be members of the Mayfield-Graves County Youth Leadership program. The group explores a different aspect of the community in each of its periodic meetings. Here, the group is pictured at the West Kentucky Landfill on Environment Day. They also visited Republic Services, the Mayfield Water and Electric sewage treatment facility, and Kess Creek, where the students tested the water quality.
