GravesBOEchair Ronnie Homes' KSBA awards

Graves County Board of Education chairman Ronnie Holmes, right, accepts a stone plaque from current Kentucky School Boards Association president Durward Narramore of the Jenkins Independent Board of Education. The photo was taken at a ceremony to honor Holmes at his last meeting as a member of the KSBA Board of Directors. Holmes has served multiple terms over the past 15 years as both regional chairperson and director at-large in one of the largest education organizations in the commonwealth. Holmes then shared a laugh with president-elect Allen Kennedy of the Hancock County Board of Education. Kennedy presented Holmes with a hand-crafted, commemorative clock. Holmes will exhaust his tenure on the KSBA board at its annual conference in late January 2014.
