Old Fashion Christmas

Rosiclare held it's first "Old Fashion Christmas" on November 21st. The purpose of the event was to promote Community spirit in the residents of Hardin County.
The Rosiclare Improvement Committee (volunteers from the area) and Cougar Outreach (students from the Hardin County High School) worked together to create a holiday atmosphere by painting windows and/or creating christmas scenes in all the store fronts on Main Street. The students did all the window painting and volunteers created wonderful window scenes. The Hardin County Community Brass Band played on Main Street. Refreshments were served in the Rosiclare Antique and Craft Mass while awaiting the unveiling of the windows.

Streets were full of people enjoying the windows and visiting with friends. Those enjoying the night came from the surrounding area. We invite you to come and view our windows and meet with those involved.
