I wrote this song earlier this year, right after the boating accident on Kentucky Lake that involved 4 teenagers from my hometown of Mayfield, KY. This song was written for their families. I felt like this is what God wanted me to say to them. He gave me this song. I went into the studio at Ohana Music Group on February 24, 2009, to record this song. Upon leaving the vocal booth after finishing the vocals, I learned that the remaining two boy's bodies were recovered from the lake just minutes earlier. I was honored to be able to sing it at McKenzie Stanley's funeral. I teamed up with Kirk Willie (of Ohana Music Group), Kyle Howard, and Tim Allred to create this video. I believe the words can apply to someone who is depressed, an alcoholic, a drug addict, someone going through a divorece, etc. No matter how bad you feel or how worthless you think you may be, Jesus loves you and will be there for you. So - In Honor of Tyler Heathcott, and In Memory of Trevor Williams, Jacob Scott, and McKenzie Stanley - Rest In Peace.
