Weather

This is my family, Josh, Samantha, and Mya Bennett. I have lived here all my life and my husband Josh's hails from Northern California. Me and Josh met when we were 18 at a New Year's Party. I loved his long hair and accent, and he must have loved my accent too, because we ended up dating ever since. Before we knew it, we were in love. Our friends will say we are just alike, but we are so different. Me and Josh could not have come from more opposite childhoods!
My husband grew up without a father and to this day doesn't even know his name, but I will be the first to say that he is the sweetest, hardworking, supportive, caring, loving father AND husband. We have become so much closer than I ever thought was possible since the birth of our daughter Mya. We currently live here in Paducah and have settled into the family life while still working night jobs. Our daughter is ten months old and as many of you understand it's hard to descibe the feeling and love that we have for our daughter(I remember everyone telling me when I was pregnant that there is nothing like the love you have for your children...they were so right).
After talking to other new mom's I am SO thankful for a husband that cooks, cleans, and takes care of baby dispite his 40 hour work week. We both work in the food industry so of course we will be working all day on Valentine's Day as usual. But all day I will be thinking about my loving and supportive husband. He has taken on the role of husband and father in a way I could never imagine. And if your wondering why I titled this "The Small Things", well when I think about our family that's what it's all about. It's the little moments that happen every day! We are a young couple, but have been together for 7 years now. I truely believe that he is my soul-mate and we have something special. I look at him and our daughter (who looks just like him!) and it's a feeling I cannot give justice to by putting into words!
