Me and the world's greatest dad.

My Daddy Walks the Talk

My Daddy has been so good to me. He raised me in a Christian home, and he always “walked” the “talk”.

He’s always been my hero. I remember getting up early to watch him shave and shine his shoes every day before going to work for the U.S. Postal Service.

I inherited his love for nature. He taught me how to identify birds and trees. He could look at the clouds or a sunset and very accurately predict the weather.

His health is not the greatest now (85 years old - on dialysis three days a week), and I spend much time in prayer for his quality of life.

I call him every day, and I still look to him for advice. He’s the wisest, most sincere, honorable person I’ve ever known, and I LOVE him more than words can express. I hope he has the greatest Father’s Day ever.
