Mike Mallory

Mike Mallory currently anchors WPSD Local 6 at Sunrise and Today as well as the hour-long Midday program. Many also recognize him from “What's it Worth,” the popular antiques segment on WPSD Local 6.

Mike is a native of Olmstead, Kentucky, and came to Local 6 from WTVW in Evansville, where he was a sports anchor and award-winning feature reporter for close to 11 years. In 1998, he moved to our market to anchor Local 6 Today, where he's remembered for “Mallory's Gallery,” funny features colored by Mike's unique sense of humor.

Mike is proud to serve as WPSD's spokesperson for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. He makes an annual trip to Memphis to highlight the hospital and tell the stories of some of the patients there. Paducah's Dream Home set national records for ticket sales in 2006.

Mike and his wife, Jenny, have three sons: Will, Alex, and Matt. All three are active in sports. Mike and Jenny have been sweethearts since high school. Mike is a graduate of Western Kentucky University. His first television job was at TV43 in Hopkinsville before returning to his college town of Bowling Green, where he worked at WBKO for two years.
