Carbondale police search for two missing people and a fraud suspect

Police need your help locating three people in this week’s Be On The Lookout. Two of them are missing and the third is a suspect in a forgery case.

Carbondale police say 20-year-old Demarea Luter-Pasquale and 21-year-old Tameka N. Young went missing from a residential treatment facility in the 2400 block of South Illinois Avenue back on Nov. 10. The two are believed to be runaways.

Police say Young was nine months pregnant when she left, and it’s possible to two are in Peoria, Illinois, where Young has family.

Carbondale police are also searching for a suspect in connection to a fraud case. Officers say a man wearing a blue t-shirt made purchases at a business in the 1100 block of East Main Street with fraudulent checks.
