Lane restriction planned on portion of southbound I-69 in Hopkins County

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY — A portion of southbound Interstate 69 in Hopkins County will be restricted to one lane on Thursday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says traffic will be restricted between the KY 813 Mortons Gap exit 108 interchange and the I-69/WK Pkwy/Pennyrile Parkway exit 106 interchange.

Crews need the lane closure so that they can make changes on two overhead panels.

Work will start around 9:00 a.m. Thursday and take about four to five hours to complete.
