Local Christmas parades

With Christmas just a few weeks away, many communities are getting into the holiday spirit by holding Christmas parades.

Marion, KY — Saturday, December 2 starting at 5:00 p.m. Parade will be on US 60/Main Street between Elm Street and First Street.

LaCenter, KY — The 2017 Ballard County Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 16 and start at 6:00 p.m. The best viewing area will be along Broadway Street. Spectators are encouraged to bring canned or nonperishable food items that will be collected during the parade and distributed among the Ballard County Food Pantries.

Arlington, KY — The Arlington Christmas Around the Block Parade will be held on Saturday, December 2 and start at 10:00 a.m.

Paducah, KY — The annual City of Paducah Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 2 and start at 5:00 p.m. The parade begins at 14th and Broadway and travels down Broadway to 2nd Street. The parade will then turn left on 2nd Street and continue to Monroe Street where it will disband. The theme this year is “Let It Glow, Let It Glow, Let It Glow.”

Carbondale, IL — The 27th Annual Lights Fantastic Parade will be held on Saturday, December 2 and start at 6:00 p.m. The parade will go along Mill Street and travel north on Illinois Avenue to Town Square. For more on the parade, click here.
