Southern IL woman accused of firing gun in direction of her husband

SALINE COUNTY, IL — A southern Illinois woman was arrested after she allegedly fired a gun in the direction of her husband.

Around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Saline County sheriff’s deputies were call to 2510 Wasson Road.

The deputies spoke with Daniel Curry who said he and his wife were arguing when she fired a pistol in his direction.

45-year-old Tammy Curry of Harrisburg was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm and was taken to the Saline County Detention Center.

The case is still under investigation.
