Awards given at annual Paducah Chamber celebration

PADUCAH, KY – The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated local businesses and nonprofit organizations with awards during its Annual Meeting and Business Celebration on Friday.

The 2018 award winners are:

Business of the Year – Community Financial Services Bank
Small Business of the Year – Lundberg Medical Imaging, owners Dr. Gersh and Terri Lundberg
Entrepreneur of the Year – Sara Bradley with the Freight House restaurant
Non-Profit Organization of the Year – Purchase Area Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center
Summit Award – Mary Hammond, Executive Director of the Paducah Convention and Visitors Bureau
Chamber Volunteer of the Year – Jessica Newman with Advantage Insurance
Leadership Paducah Alumnus of the Year – Darlene Mazzone, Publisher of Paducah Life Magazine and owner of Mazzone Communications.
Young Leader of Western Kentucky – Matt Snow, Executive Director of Facilities, Baptist Health Paducah.

Also at the meeting and celebration, outgoing chamber board chair Tammy Zimmerman, who is president and CEO if Payment Plus, officially passed the gavel on to 2016 Board Chair Leon Owens, who is president of Swift and Staley.
