Power back on in Benton, IL

UPDATE: The power outage in Benton, Illinois is over.

Ameren Illinois says a switch on one of the power lines failed.

Crews were able to re-route and fix the problem.

BENTON, IL — The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency says a city wide power outage has been reported in Benton, Illinois.

Crews are working to restore power.

The cause of the outage has not been determined.
