Kentucky State Parks auctioning off six bison

UNION, KY — The Kentucky Department of Parks is looking to sell some bison.

Six bison from the Big Bone Lick State Historic Site in Union are being sold in three groups of two.

The department is accepting sealed bids on the three lots through noon, February 19.

Bids must include your name, address and daytime phone number. A $100 deposit is required with all bids.

The deposits will be returned to all non-winning bidders. Checks should be made out to Big Bone Lick State Historic Site.
