Paducah police asking for help identifying two possibly stolen guns

PADUCAH, KY — Paducah police are asking for help identifying two possibly stolen guns.

On Monday, an officer stopped Edward Dean Brownfield in the 500 block of North 21st Street.

Brownfield had methamphetamine and two handguns on his person. One handgun was a Glock 22 that appeared to be worn and the other was a Glock 43.

Brownfield was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st (methamphetamine), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon x 2, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon x 2.

The two handguns are believed to have been stolen and not yet reported or purchased illegally due to Brownfield’s felony conviction.

Police are asking for help identifying who the guns belong to. Police did not provide a photo of the guns.
