U.S. 60 back open near Kevil after crash

UPDATE: U.S. 60 West is back open to traffic after it was closed for a time Wednesday due to a crash.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department sent notice around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday that the roadway is back open to normal traffic.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY — A crash involving a pickup truck and a semi is blocking US 60 near the McCracken/Ballard County line.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the crash is near the Queensway intersection west of Kevil.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes are blocked. No word on any injuries at this time.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area. The road is expected to be blocked until about 2 p.m.
