Harrah’s Metropolis to reopen Thursday

METROPOLIS, IL — After being closed for over two weeks due to flood waters, Harrah’s Metropolis Casino and Hotel will be reopening on Thursday, March 15.

The casino has been closed since Sunday, February 25 due to flooding along the Ohio River. It will reopen to the public at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.

The casino says all employees were paid during the closure. Many employees volunteered during the closure.
