One person dead, another injured in early morning Paducah shooting
PADUCAH, KY — An investigation is underway after Paducah police found two victims of a shooting Thursday morning.
Around 2:45 a.m., Paducah police officers were called to an apartment in the 2300 block of South 25th Street for a welfare check.
Inside the apartment, officers found two victims with apparent gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was deceased. The other victim was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The names of the victims are being withheld at this time. Paducah police say more information will be released as it becomes available.
