Body found Monday morning in Poplar Bluff park

POPLAR BLUFF, MO — An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in a Poplar Bluff park.

Around 7:00 a.m. Monday, a man was found dead at Sportsman Park.

The Poplar Bluff Police Department says the man lives nearby and may have been on his way home when he had some type of medical issue.

The man’s name has not been released yet since family is still being notified.

An investigation is underway, however, police do not suspect foul play.
