State police investigating 2 deaths in Livingston County

UPDATE: State police have released more information about two people found dead in their Livingston County, Kentucky, home Tuesday.

Kentucky State Police investigators say 57-year-old Terry Burnette of Burna was found dead in the front yard of his home along U.S. 60 east around 4:04 p.m. Inside the home, 56-year-old Deborah Burnette was found dead in her bedroom.

Troopers say both Burnettes had various medical issues, and foul play is not suspected.

An autopsy will be performed at the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville on Wednesday.


LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY — The Kentucky State Police is investigating the deaths of two people in Livingston County Tuesday.

The investigation is in the Burna area.

A KSP spokesman says there is no threat to the public regarding the death investigation. The agency would not release any further details at this time.
