GRAVES COUNTY, KY — A Mayfield man has been arrested for the death of an 8-month-old baby.

Court papers obtained by Local 6 state 20-year-old David Kayse was arrested Monday.

Kayse was stepfather to 8-month-old Jacob, who died July 15.

Kayse was jailed in the Graves County Jail on a charge of reckless homicide.

An arraignment hearing has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Graves County District Court.
