GRAVES COUNTY, KY — A Mayfield man has pleaded not guilty in the death of his stepson.

David Kayse is charged with reckless homicide in 8-month-old Jacob’s death last month.

He was arraigned via video conference in a Graves County courtroom on Wednesday.

Kayse allegedly told deputies he wrapped Jacob’s head in a comforter out of frustration, and that he just wanted the boy to sleep.

Jacob’s mother, Brianna Boling, is not facing charges.
