Murray teacher accused of inappropriate conduct

MURRAY, KY — Kentucky State Police have opened an investigation into a teacher at Murray High School accused of inappropriate conduct.

Trooper Jay Thomas says the accusations involve a former student and a current student.

The teacher’s name has not yet been released.

No charges have been filed.

A spokeswoman with Murray City Schools says, based on the statement of Superintendent Coy Samons, “This is a personnel matter, and at this time we have no comment.”
